This item is much better than the original is more flexible. take i lot of hard landing, that will be a crash with the original.

This is a nice looking, functional, and durable skid. One thing I would recommend is to install a washer between the bolt and skid to help spread out the bolting pressure when you install these. My first set cracked at the bolt in a crash, so I think the bolt puts outward pressure on the hole when it's tightened down and makes it more likely that it will split apart in a crash.

A friend of mine brought over his mini Simpletcopter to try. I wouldn't let him leave until I ordered mine so it would be just like his. I thought my qav250 was fast and maneuverable, but this thing takes it to another level. Without a battery my build came in at 366 grams. Flying with his 6x4 props on 3s is plenty of power for now. Buy and build just like he tells you and you will not be disappointed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWJjTcZYpoY

Flexible and strong, Still haven't broken one. They are easy to paint also. I like to remove the 4 tabs on top so it sits flush with the frame.

I bought this landing skid for my flite test knuckle h quad because those stupid delrin pieces keep on breaking and they are realy expensive. So wondering around on youtube I found hallstudios and sawone of his tricopter vids and noticed the cool landing skid on it. I said to my self that is it expensive and durable? So I went onto his wedsite and bought one. found it in the mail and it is PERFECT! it fits like a glove and is very tough. im definitly buying more things from simple copter.com.

I have put this skid through a lot, it cushions great, is slightly springy, and doesn't brake. No kidding I've slammed it into the pavement about 100 times, no problem.
Would be great if the frames came pre-drilled with holes for this guy.
