The high KV (1300-1400) of the motors and small props (8x4) rotate at tremendous speeds. Any vibrations generated will have a very high frequency which the GoPro won't detect. With the Frame being made of wood and ply wood, more vibrations are dampened, resulting in a jitter and rolling shutter free video.
flight duration of around 10 minutes fully loaded with a 2200mah 4S LiPo.

10x5 use with 1400kv on 3 cell only or 980kv on 3 or 4 cell ( these are more efficient but not as snappy for aerobatics. They are very good in the wind)

High end (at least for me) sorry these are hard to get. I have made these very popular.
Sunnysky 2212 1400kv use 8x4.5 prop on 3 or 4 cell or 10x5 on 3 cell.

USA dealer when he has them http://www.buddyrc.com/sunnysky-x2212-9-1400kv-ii.html
Sunnysky 2212 980kv use 10x5 with 4 cell pack. These give 10 to 15% more flight time with slightly reduced power. They have enough power to fly on 3 cell but if loaded with fpv gear then use 4 cell.

As far as batteries go i like the hobbyking compact zippy.
And the Glacier batteries from Buddyrc
buddyrc.com
Buddyrc also caries the Icharger line of Chargers. I have had very good luck (meaning none of my batteries have caught fire like they did with 2 different hobbyking chargers)

As always, shipping was lightning fast! This is my third tri from Matt, it just keeps getting better@ Simple Copter. I love the little T so much I had to have the V2 large T, it almost flies its self! Matt is great guy and bends over backwards to help a simpleton like me. Always available to walk you thru the setup if, you need it. A 5 Star business!

I've enjoyed my original Tricopter so much that I wanted to try the Tcopter. I now have the frame painted and ready to install parts. Thanks for the great service.

received frame a while ago and I am now flying almost every day since i finished building. It was easy and (like the name mentions) simple to build.
The "how to" video says it all.
It is a stable platform for fpv, yet you can set it up extremely agressive for aerobatic flying. The first time i tried to roll the t-copter, it rotated 990° in matter of a second. unfortunately that was not a full triple roll and i lost control landing it very hard (read crashing) upside down. NONE of the frame parts were broken! Just needed to replace my servo (plastic gear).
Stick scaling was at 140... Way too much. Reduced stick scaling to 100 and is now a perfect match for my capabilities. don't forget to dial in your expo's.
Math, thanks for all the explanations.

Shipping was fast, the parts have high quality. The video really does cover everything but for a noob some information is dense. This is the first drone I've built and was able to get this into the air. The T is very stable and fun to fly. Matt is awesome! He answered all my emails re: noob silly stuff. I would recommend this T-copter and any other Simplecopter product to anyone.

Lovely little frame. Fairly easy to make but why not support the creator and get an original? Great size, well thought out design. Packed nicely & arrived in the UK 1 week 3 days after ordering.

Airplane guy for 25 years, wanted to try something different. A buddy gave me a 7 year old heli, decided that it wasn't worth the cost and effort to make it fly. Started getting interested in multirotors. Loved the configuration of the "T". Poked around a bit. Found Simplecopter. Got one. Very nice frame, worth every cent, ideal for what I want. Which is something I can learn on, if and when I crash wood is always fixable.
i ascertained that to make it fly again would be

This is a great frame kit that is well made well thought out and at a great price.
If you follow the suggested specs with the sunnkysky 1400kv motors and use the KK2.1 FC with steveis firmware you will have a GREAT flying machine. For the money this set up CAN NOT be beat.
I am very impressed and very pleased with my purchase, you couldn't scratch build one for less money. Just buy the kit and save the time and hassle!!
Can you tell i really like my Simple TCopter kit?
Ben
